My Vision Pro M5 with Anapro 2, Logitech Muse, & 3D printed holder.
Hands On With the Logitech Muse For Vision Pro
During WWDC 2025, Apple announced that Vision Pro would gain support for third-party controllers — specifically the Logitech Muse and the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers. The Logitech Muse is a spatially tracked stylus offering six degrees of freedom (6DoF), force sensors on the tip, side buttons, haptic feedback, and pressure-sensitive tips. Many in the Vision Pro development community purchased the Muse when it became available in October, which coincided with the release of the Vision Pro with M5, though the Muse also works with the original Vision Pro.
As of the date of this post, Apple has added dedicated stylus support in visionOS 26.2 beta. Early adopters were initially disappointed by the lack of functionality, but visionOS 26.2 beta has now unlocked a wide range of interactions for the Muse. The Settings app includes a new Spatial Accessory pane that displays the stylus’s battery level and provides various configuration options.

The updated controls include the ability to tap buttons and scroll windows with the Muse. You can also swipe between apps in the Home View. Apple's own apps—Notes and Freeform—as well as Apple developer apps such as Crayon: 3D Sketching, Sketch Pro, Wild Stylus, Coloring Book, and Spatial Analogue—all support the Logitech Muse. Raven Zachary maintains a list of Vision Pro apps that includes a filter for Logitech Muse compatibility.

Developing For the Logitech Muse
When developing for the Logitech Muse, you can use the GameController framework along with anchor data from RealityKit or ARKit. In the Xcode's Game Controller capabilities, enable Spatial Gamepad. With ARKit’s Accessory Anchor, you can access details such as the stylus’s handedness, velocity, angular velocity, and tracking state—once you’ve established a spatial tracking session for the device. You can also retrieve metric anchor transforms for precise real-world measurements.

The Trials of Selling a Used Vision Pro in 2025
You may recall that I wanted to sell my original Vision Pro, which I bought on launch weekend. I eventually did sell it—after a false start and some challenges with cross-border shipping. In the end, I was fortunate to receive more for the device than I would have if the first deal had gone through. You can read about the experience in my blog post, Selling An Apple Vision Pro: A Practical Guide.
I also gave a lightning talk about the process—before the final sale happened—at our local CocoaHeads meetup, tacow, in Toronto: How not To Sell a Vision Pro.
Why Vision Pro Matters for Disabled People
I’m a huge fan of Christopher Hills. I first discovered him through his 2016 video Accessibility: You're More Powerful Than You Think, where he demonstrated how to use an iPad with Switch Control. In his latest video, he explains how Vision Pro further empowers him to get things done—with greater security as well, since his personal support worker can’t see his screen.
Apple has long been a leader in accessibility, from early innovations like Mac to Speech in Classic Mac OS, and now to Vision Pro and spatial computing. Check out: Why Vision Pro Matters for Disabled People.
World of Red Bull on Apple TV
In case you missed it, The World of Red Bull's first episode Backcountry Skiing came out on Apple TV. The show follows heliskiers in Revelstoke BC off-trail on untouched snow. World of Red Bull

Xcode 26 Persona now uses Gaussian Splats for better rendering. One Week with Vision Pro M5 It’s been a week since I got my new Vision Pro M5 — the second configuration from Apple — and I’m ready to share my impressions. TL;DR: It’s noticeably sharper and faster than the original Vision Pro. It’s a great choice for first-time Vision Pro buyers, or for developers and those working with Apple Intelligence, which is ~50% faster, and 3rd-party apps are now up to 2x faster. The Vision Pro M5 is an...

source: Apple showing the beta and Persona 1.0 (left) visionOS 26 - release It’s been a minute since WWDC25 where we learned that visionOS design leads the way to Apple’s platforms, with the introduction of Liquid Glass. The UI metaphors we’ve been dealing with for the past 18 months are available on your iOS, watchOS and tvOS devices; round buttons, transparency, and glassy surfaces. Now that visionOS is released you can try all of the new features. Here are some on my faves. Super Realistic...
